It was very surreal seeing everything at the beach get disassembled while I was walking down for my last meeting at Amazon Beach. It's the last day of the festival. It has been a crazy week and I wanted to end strong. I first went to the entertainment of the year speech by the CEO of Mattel and I learned that Ynon Kreiz was the one that greenlit Barbie and made the film happen. His goal is to make Mattel not only known for its toys but to transform it into an entertainment company.

Next, I went to see Maria Ressa. She honestly was the best speaker this entire week. The way she told the story about how social media has an algorithm of fear and paranoia in order to keep you scrolling. That 45% of the things online are 'crap' as she said "enshittification". The way we use data has consequences for our generation and beyond. She is the speaker who is the most inspiring and hits all the concepts for the current issue of humanity. That is we are addicted to our phones!

I then proceeded to go to a luncheon with D&G where the CEO presented a speech about his company and mission. Later, I went to go see "Inside the Jury", which was pretty insightful. I remember one of the jurors said that gold needs all 4: creativity, strategy, execution, and result. The reason why Pop-Tarts won grand prix was because it did not take itself seriously. At first, the jurors did not expect Pop-Tarts to be considered, but as they discussed it further, it became clear that it was the winner. Which I agree.
Finally, I went to the last award show, and WOW! The line was so long that we could not get into the main stage. We only were able to attend the stage that was streaming the ceremony, which was a shame. But all the speakers and winners were amazing and deserving of their Lions.
I finished the night by attending the closing party where we saw fireworks at midnight.
