Today's weather is a bit rainy, when I headed to the Amazon beach, it was pretty cloudy. After we had our meeting, me and two classmates went to go to Adobe stand. While walking, it was heavily raining, but at least I had an umbrella that I got from TikTok. At Adobe, I talked with a couple of people and got some refreshments. I went to my first talk of the day which was a CMO panel with TikTok, PepsiCo, and Moderna. After that I went to the Poor Things speech with Pinterest. It was very interesting how the art direction and style are based on a fantasy-like Europe. It was a quirky talk. Afterward, I headed up to the rooftop and saw elf beauty doing makeup touch-ups. It was super cool and I got a free sample of perfume and the elf lip oil. I also got a short massage session and I was ready to go.

Gold Lion for Media

I went to the Inside the Jury Room: Media Lions, where they discussed the winning lions. One of the lions that I enjoyed was using a dog collar to calculate whether an earthquake will happen as animals can predict earthquakes. Humanitarian causes appeal to me the most. Right after the speech ended, I jumped onto a Tour of the Media works where another interesting work called Noad was presented. The purpose of the campaign is to ban ads in medical videos ie. choking videos, to save lives.

Shanghai Grilled Sea bass

I went to go take a break and went on to go see the Thursday Award Show for my award track (brand experience and activation). It was pretty cool seeing how innovative and creative everyone was. My favorite one was Sweethearts: Situationships where they packaged defective, blurry candy and branded them as situationships. Finally, I went to go eat at a Chinese restaurant because I am starting to miss Asian food after being in France for more than a week.
