I arrived in France on June 13 and stayed in Nice for a couple of days. I had a lot of fun traveling to Castle Hill and the Flower Market. Getting to Cannes was pretty hard as I had to take the train and a bus after that. Not knowing French was an issue and I actually took the wrong bus and ended up being more late. But thankfully, the people here actually are nice and they tried to help me get to my destination and also put my suitcase in a good area. Note to self, I will be taking an Uber for long distances!

I soon arrived at the dorms and got settled down. We later got dinner at Mady’s and I got the beef carpaccio as my starter and sea bass as my main, with tiramisu as my dessert. The beef carpaccio was perfect and I did not even know it was raw meat! After that, we saw street performers in front of the restaurant doing flips.

On Sunday, I went with my roommates to collect our badges, we saw there was a little farmers market and decided to get some breakfast. I wish I had explored the farmer's market longer. Then, I got ready to go on a perfume tour, which was super fun! I actually learned so much about perfume and our guide made us smell beaver poop (it smelled like wood). We later ate out in front of the store and walked to the best part of the tour which was making our own perfume. My partner and I had similar tastes in scent so we made a fresh vanilla scent for the summer. We named it Spring Break.
